# What if you lose your password to your bitcoin wallet?

There are two options, you can choose to reset the password on the wallet details page, or you can choose to delete the wallet and reimport the private key or mnemonic. Whoever holds the private key and mnemonic is the owner of the wallet.Please make sure to save the private key before deleting the wallet.
